Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour
that Challenges - Distance Learning.
Content and overview This
qualification is designed to increase your awareness and understanding of
behaviour that challenges and its effects. By completing the qualification, you
will develop in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges which could support
progression onto other appropriate qualifications and into relevant employment
in the health and social care sector. This qualification would be valuable for
you who is already working, or about to work in education and the health and
social care sector. It is designed to increase awareness and understanding of
behaviours that challenge and their effects.
To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Understanding
Behaviour that Challenges, you are required to successfully complete the 4
mandatory units below: 1. Understand behaviour that
challenges 2. Understand how to support positive behaviour 3. Understand
the importance of effective communication and the management of behaviour that
challenges 4. Understand the role of reflection and support for those
involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges
Delivery
Method This qualification is delivered as distance learning using
Google Classroom. You will have regular contact with your tutor, who will
provide feedback as you work through the units.
Suitable for: This qualification
would be valuable for you who are working, or about to work in education and the
health and social care sector. It is designed to increase awareness and
understanding of behaviours that challenge and their effects.
Entry requirements For a
funded/part funded course, you must be aged 19+ on 31 August 2024 and UK
resident for at least 3 years. You must complete an online induction, which
includes online safety, before you begin a course with us.
Progression route After
achieving this qualification, you could progress to:
•Level 2 qualifications in Mental Health •Level 2
Certificate in Understanding Autism
