This course is designed for adults
who wish to gain knowledge about the role of a teaching assistant, what the job
entails and how they can begin a career working as a teaching assistant in a
school or college.

• Supporting teaching and learning
• Safeguarding
children and young people
• Next steps

Anyone wishing to gain knowledge of
the role, the skills needed and the required qualifications for working in a
school or college.
Delivery Method
This is an in person workshop
delivered at Ashby Community Hub over 2 consecutive
weeks.

Guidance is given throughout the workshop regarding
opportunities and careers. You could progress on to:
