Introduction to Counselling Skills – Tailored
Learning
Content & Overview: Curious
about a career in counselling or looking to explore the basics before committing
to a full qualification? Our Introduction to Counselling Skills is the
perfect starting point. This short, 2-week engaging course offers an accessible
overview of the key concepts, skills, and values in counselling
practice. Designed to build confidence and provide insight into what to
expect from the full Level 1 Gateway Counselling Award, it’s ideal for
anyone considering their first steps into the world of counselling.
Induction - 15th September 25 Course - 18th & 25th
September 25
Suitable for: Adults interested in working in
counselling or would like to use counselling skills in other areas of work and
need a basic understanding of counselling skills. This course is a beginners’
introduction so is not suitable for those who already hold counselling
qualifications.
Entry requirements: No prior experience
needed—just an open mind and a willingness to learn.
Delivery Method: Face to face
Progression route: Once you’ve completed this
course, you’ll be ready to take the next step and join the Counselling Level 1
Gateway Award.
