ESOL - Living in North Lincs - Tailored Learning

Content & Overview:
If you have settled in North Lincolnshire this year, this ESOL course will help you learn simple English words and sentences for everyday life. You will practise speaking and listening and learn useful words for life in your new area. You will learn about local places, people, and culture.

This course will help you feel more confident, meet others, and get ready for more English classes in the future.

Suitable for:
New arrivals (less than one year)

Entry requirements:

• You must be aged 19 or over on 31 August 2025.
• You must have the right to live and work in the UK.
• You should be assessed as needing to improve your English language skills through an initial assessment that places you at Pre-Entry, Entry Level, Level 1 or Level 2 in ESOL.
• Low-income earners, unemployed learners, or those on certain benefits (e.g., Universal Credit) will be eligible for full funding.
