Course Description
NCFE Level 1 Award In Volunteering
Content & Overview: This
qualification is designed to support you if you are considering a career in the
voluntary sector or if you are already volunteering and want to gain a
nationally recognised qualification. It introduces the concepts of volunteering,
the benefits, and the responsibilities of volunteers, and helps you to reflect
on their own skills and experience.
You will complete a combination of the following
units:
• Understanding volunteering • Preparation for
volunteering • Volunteering and the voluntary sector • Working as a
volunteer • Rights and responsibilities in volunteering
Suitable for: Good written English and digital
access (for online delivery) will support your success
Entry requirements: Interest in volunteering
Delivery Method: This is a face-to-face
classroom-based course with live lessons and set teaching times. You should
be willing to join in with class discussions and activities and commit to
personal study.
