Course Description
Content & Overview: Skills for Everyday Success is a supportive, practical course
designed to help you feel more confident in day-to-day life. If you want to
build your skills around managing money, getting organised, cooking on a budget,
communication and looking after your wellbeing, while also developing confidence
for work, training or volunteering. These sessions give you the chance to learn
at your own pace, share ideas and take positive steps forward for yourself and
your family.
You will learn how
to:
• Develop practical skills for managing money, food and household
routines • Improve communication, organisation and problem-solving
skills • Increase confidence and awareness around wellbeing and
self-care • Recognise your own strength and skills, including those useful
for work or learning • Feel more prepared to take next steps towards work,
training, volunteering or further learning.
Suitable
for: This course is suitable for adults (19+)
who want to build confidence and practical skills for everyday life managing the
household, in the community and when thinking about future work or learning.
Delivery method: Face to face.

During your course, you will be provided with information,
advice and guidance about the appropriate next steps for you.

who can support you to plan for these, as well as discussions with your
tutor.
DISCLAIMER: When
applying for this course, you must provide evidence to confirm eligibility for
funding (we are funded by the Department for Education). This includes ID with
proof of address (e.g. Driving licence, Council Tax bill) and also proof of low
wage or benefit claim if applicable. Applying for a course does not mean you
are automatically enrolled. You must be 19+ on 31 August 2025 and a UK resident
for at least 3 years.
