Course Description
Content & Overview: Writing
with Accuracy is a set of three short courses that help you improve your
spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Each course is 10 hours over 5 weeks, and
you can take them on their own or one after another.
Depending on your individual needs, you can complete,
Writing with Accuracy in:
- Grammar – understand how sentences work and write more accurately
- Spelling – build confidence with common words and spelling patterns
- Punctuation – learn how to use punctuation clearly and correctly
These courses help you strengthen key writing skills so
you can write clearly, correctly, and with confidence.
Suitable for: Individuals who specifically want
to work on these individual areas of the English Language.
Entry requirements: Individuals must be below a
Level 2/GCSE Grade C/4.
Delivery Method: Face to face.
Progression route: After completing the course,

DISCLAIMER: You must be 19+ on 31 August 2026
and ordinarily resident in England for the last 3 years. You must also be
resident in the Greater Lincolnshire County Council Area (GLCCA) on the first
day of learning.
When applying for this course, you must provide
evidence to confirm eligibility for funding, this includes proof of ID and proof
of address. In addition, we will also require evidence if your income and or
benefits, if £26,800 gross or below.
If you have not attached the evidence to your application,
please provide using one of the following methods:
- In person - please bring to the Business Admin office (F09) at Ashby
Community Hub
