Introduction to Working in the Early Years - VIRTUAL workshop
This workshop will provide you with an introduction to working in the Early Years/Child Care Sector.

Course Overview
You will learn about the different types of roles and jobs available within the Early Years/Child Care Sector. You will also find out about where to access further information and learning opportunities to support your Early Years Career.

Suitable for
This course is suitable for anyone (aged 19+) who is thinking about starting or developing their career within the Early Years/ChildCare Sector.

Delivery method
The workshop is delivered virtually (online via MS Teams or using Google Classroom).

PLEASE NOTE: The link to access the course will be sent to you via email the week before the start date.

Assessment
No formal assessment is required. During the session your tutor will check your understanding through questions and answers, and will provide verbal/written feedback/review.

Progression route / Further Study
Once you have completed this workshop, you can progress on to:
Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Schools
Teaching Assistant Level 2 Certificate.
