IOSH Working Safely

Course Overview
IOSH Working Safely is a certificated, globally recognised and respected safety and health training course.
It takes a completely different approach to safety and health, with an engaging, fun and high-impact programme based on what people really need to know.
The course material ensures you can identify and define safety and health hazards and risks within the workplace.
With no complex legal jargon, the course is able to focus on the practicalities people need to know to do their jobs safely and healthily.

The course is divided into four modules:

• Introducing working safely
• Defining hazard and risk
• Identifying common hazards
• Improving safety performance

Delivery Method
IOSH Working Safely is a one day course, delivered face to face by an experienced and expertly trained IOSH approved trainer.
On the final day of the course, you will be expected to complete a closed-book assessment under strict examination conditions.

Suitable for
The IOSH Working Safely course is for anyone and everyone in a working role who wants to learn the basics of safety and health.
There are no entry requirements for this certificate, however it is important that you have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts included in the course.

Course Price
The cost is normally £149.00 per person, but we currently have an introductory discount of more than 35%. Payment can be made via invoice (for companies) or by debit/credit card (for individuals). Internal recharge for North Lincs Council staff (a cost centre and your line manager's approval is required).
