Course Description

APPLICATION TO THIS COURSE IS BY REFERRAL ONLY.

YOU WILL NEED TO ATTEND AN INDUCTION SESSION AT SCUNTHOPRE JOB CENTRE ON 19.02.2026 BETWEEN 10AM AND 2PM.

Content & Overview:
This FREE 6-week course is aimed to improve your confidence, communication skills and social skills, through the enjoyment of walking football.

    Individual Outcomes
    You will set your own personal target/outcome that you     want to achieve (to be agreed week 1)

    Project Outcomes
    Improved confidence and social / communication skills

Suitable for:
You must be over 50 years old, and either economically inactive or in receipt of benefits.

Entry requirements:
Your work coach, at the Job Centre will refer you to this course.

Delivery Method:
Face to face – practical sessions (wear suitable clothing and trainers). The sessions will be split into two halves – first half: walking football activity indoors, second half will be classroom-based employability.
